Northern Arizona University Launches a Student-Centered Mobile Experience
Founded in 1899, Northern Arizona University (NAU) serves over 28,000 undergraduate and graduate students across the main Flagstaff campus, 20 statewide campus sites, and its online program.
Seeing the need for an enhanced mobile campus app that was easier to manage, the school began a search for a new solution. The Modo platform stood out due to its ease of implementation and customization, numerous pre-configured modules, and ability to build a seamless experience for mobile and desktop platforms.
Using Modo Campus, NAU's first mobile app went live in 12 weeks. Since then, the small team has added new personas to tailor content for more audiences, expanded their student portal, and built numerous integrations to make their app an essential campus resource.
Read on to learn more about NAU's development process, PeopleSoft and digital ID integrations, and future expansion plans.
“Our mobile app and desktop experiences help streamline the student experience, driving higher engagement and success.”
